BOXING AND FIGHT TRAINING

Most newcomers to a gym pay a membership fee and find themselves adrift on the gym floor, surrounded by silent and un-cooperative equipment. Most people quickly head for the cardio pit and climb aboard a treadmill that blinks like the flight deck of a 747. Shortly after switching it on, two things become apparent; getting fit is painful, and the only thing worse than being in pain is being bored at the same time.

Kickboxing and boxing are endlessly fascinating. They are easy to learn yet hard to master, and the technical pursuit is like a game. There is no danger of any kind; just hard work and the fascination inherent in a strategic, skilful pursuit.

WHY WE BOX TRAIN

Boxing and kickboxing require every aspect of fitness; strength, speed, stamina, flexibility, and co-ordination. Regular participation brings together the other aspects of your training and gives you a gauge of how you’re progressing.

Because of the focus on technique, boxing and kickboxing relieve the boredom many people experience during regular gym workouts. There is also the constant physical interaction with a pad-holder, which is strategic, fun and exciting.
